Job Description

Position Summary At Tuscan Kitchen Seaport, we create memorable dining experiences for guests celebrating everything from corporate dinners to weddings, birthdays, and community events. We are looking for an organized, hospitality-driven Private Events Manager to lead our events business and deliver exceptional guest experiences from inquiry to execution. The Private Events Manager is responsible for generating and coordinating private dining and special event business for the restaurant. This role manages client relationships, event planning, sales coordination, and on-site execution while working closely with kitchen, service, and management teams. Key Responsibilities Respond to private event inquiries promptly and professionally Sell and coordinate private dining experiences, buyouts, and catered events Conduct site tours and client consultations Prepare proposals, contracts, BEOs (Banquet Event Orders), and invoices Coordinate menus, timelines, seating arrangements, and special requests Serve as the primary contact for clients before and during events Work closely with chefs, managers, and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth execution Meet or exceed monthly sales and revenue goals Maintain event calendars and client databases Build relationships with local businesses, vendors, and community organizations Qualifications 2+ years of restaurant events, hospitality sales, or event management experience Strong communication and customer service skills Excellent organization and multitasking abilities Experience with OpenTable, Tripleseat, or similar event management software preferred Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Knowledge of food, beverage, and hospitality operations Preferred Skills Sales and negotiation experience Attention to detail under pressure Leadership and team collaboration Budgeting and invoice management Social media or marketing experience is a plus
