Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Planning:
Collaborate with Whoa Events team & clients to conceptualize event ideas, create event timelines, and develop detailed event plans, including budgets, venues, catering, entertainment, and logistics.
Client Communication:
Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, understanding their event requirements, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the planning process.
Vendor Management:
Source and negotiate contracts with event vendors, including, caterers, venues, decorators, entertainers, and technical support, to ensure the successful execution of events.
Logistics:
Oversee event logistics, including setup, teardown, transportation, and onsite coordination.
Creative Input:
Offer creative input and innovative ideas to enhance the overall event experience, including decor, themes, etc.
Problem Solving:
Proactively identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the planning & execution of events.
Internal Communications:
Provide project updates and communicate clearly with internal team.
Trust & Dependability:
Instill 100% trust that tasks will be completed accurately & on time for all tasks you own.

QualificationsBachelor degree or equivalent1-2 years of event management experienceAbility to work within strict deadlinesDemonstrates ability to manage multiple project simultaneouslyHighly organized, detail oriented and committed to producing high quality workPositive and passionate about exploring and learning the production of corporate events; no job is too big or smallDevelop and maintain professional business relationships with our clients and partnersAbility to carry up to 50 poundsAbility to travel for events up to 50% of the timeBenefitsCompetitive salaryQSEHRAOpportunities for professional development and growth
