About Strive Ninja Fitness Strive Ninja Fitness is seeking an energetic, organized, and highly reliable individual to lead and grow our weekend Party and Recreational Event programs. Located in Franklin, Massachusetts, Strive Ninja Fitness is one of New England's premier ninja and obstacle fitness facilities. We help children, teens, and adults build strength, confidence, and athletic skills through fun and challenging obstacle-based training. In addition to our classes and team programs, we offer birthday parties and special recreational events designed to create memorable experiences for our customers. We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with children, delivering outstanding customer experiences, and leading a team in a fun, fast-paced environment. Position Overview The Weekend Party & Events Manager will serve as the on-site leader for Strive's birthday party program and other recreational event offerings. This position is primarily a Saturday role. Initial hours are expected to be approximately 4.5 to 6.5 hours each Saturday, with opportunities for additional hours as party and event offerings grow. As demand increases, Sunday party and event opportunities may also be added. The successful candidate will take ownership of delivering exceptional experiences for families while helping Strive continue to expand and enhance its party and event offerings. Responsibilities Lead Strive's birthday party and recreational event programs in a manner that consistently exceeds customer expectations Serve as the primary on-site leader during parties and special events Ensure all participants have a fun, safe, engaging, and memorable experience Welcome families and communicate professionally with customers before, during, and after events Coordinate event flow, timing, staffing, and customer experience throughout each event Supervise and provide guidance to junior staff members supporting parties and events Gather customer feedback and identify opportunities for continuous improvement Help develop and grow new recreational event offerings such as Parents' Night Out programs, school fundraisers, open gym events, and other special activities Maintain a safe environment and respond appropriately to incidents or emergencies Ensure facilities are organized, prepared, and ready for each event Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain certification before beginning the role Experience leading children's parties, camps, youth programs, recreational activities, coaching programs, or similar experiences Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Highly dependable with consistent weekend availability Positive, energetic personality and ability to engage children and families Ability to work independently and take ownership of programs What We're Looking For The ideal candidate naturally takes initiative, enjoys working with children, and takes pride in creating outstanding experiences for families. This role is a great fit for someone with experience in youth programs, coaching, camps, recreation, education, hospitality, event management, or customer service leadership. We are looking for someone who is comfortable leading groups, managing staff, solving problems on the fly, and helping grow a successful party and events program.
