Based at the Greendale Family branch, the Birthday Party Staff Associate is responsible for managing the full process of YMCA birthday parties, ensuring exceptional customer experience, smooth operations, and adherence to YMCA quality standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Foster a fun, safe, and engaging party atmosphere. Coordinate food deliveries and ensure proper transport to the party room. Lead the birthday party room setup and activity coordination including inflatables, music, and furniture, and post-party cleanup. Provide every party guest with a welcoming, friendly, and memorable customer experience. Welcome guests and greet families upon arrival, maintaining communication with parents throughout the event. Ensure that all party spaces are used appropriately, kept clean, and properly maintained before and after use. Work according to the shift schedule, including weekends (minimum one Saturday or Sunday per week). Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 16 years of age. Experience in Events Management preferred by not required. Current certifications in CPR/AED/First Aid (or willingness to obtain). Ability to plan, organize, and manage a schedule. Ability to build strong, authentic relationships with diverse families and community members. Physically able to help with decorating or carrying objects up to 30lbs. Fulfillment of state-specific hiring standards and completion of YMCA program-specific training. Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.

Pay:
