Position Summary :
Coordinate a range of services to support the individuals and groups attending group events at Sandy Cove Ministries, including meeting room setups, food service requests, adventure activities, and audio-visual equipment rentals. Coordinate meeting room bookings, equipment usage, rooming lists, and meal counts through the reservations system. Work alongside the Sales and Reservation team through administrative support as needed.
General Purpose:
To serve as the liaison between group guests and the different departments within Sandy Cove to provide superior guest service to help people connect with God and each other.

Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for working closely with Sales Representatives in support of event leaders. Primary contact with event leaders happens via e-mail, phone, and on-site visits to determine their particular group needs and assist them with organizing the details of their event (anywhere from 10 to 450 people) Manage in-house guests by acting as host and manager while groups are on-site to ensure that they have an excellent experience by addressing any concerns or complaints as well as monitoring everyday operations affecting the guests Communicate internally with Sandy Cove department heads through weekly meetings and inputting tasks into the property management system, "Maestro," to inform the departments of their responsibilities in fulfilling the group needs and ensure excellent guest service Monitor group financials by encouraging groups to meet or exceed their contracted numbers by offering advice, tools, extra services, and prayer to meet or exceed Sandy Cove's budget Assist Sales with administrative support such as creating labels, filing, putting Sales packets together, etc. Be available to assist with Reservation calls as needed. Perform any other requested reasonable tasks assigned Essential skills and experience 3+ years of event coordinating experience preferred Ability to communicate effectively & efficiently, both written and verbal Basic knowledge of hotel and conference centers and their daily operations Extremely detail-oriented Must be creative and possess a strong ability to problem-solve Possess effective organization skills Strong leadership qualities Ability to use computer and necessary programs as used by Sandy Cove Ministries for the coordination of guest information Ability to work with a diverse range of individuals and groups Must be able to work independently and maintain a positive attitude within a very busy environment Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines Reporting to this position: none Nonessential skills and experience: Prior sales experience Experience working in Not-for-Profit camps or conference centers Physical demands of work environment: The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of the job.
