Job Description

Bell Farm Shops is looking for an organized, creative, and highly detail-oriented Contract Events Coordinator to help bring memorable experiences to life at our destination retail property. This is a contract position perfect for someone who enjoys planning events from start to finish while working alongside an owner with a strong creative vision. About Bell Farm Shops Bell Farm Shops is a one-of-a-kind destination featuring: Gift & Home Shop Backyard Bird Supply & Garden Shop Forever Christmas Shop Nectar Café Beautiful perennial gardens and outdoor spaces We host seasonal events, workshops, community gatherings, and special experiences throughout the year. Responsibilities Coordinate classes, workshops, and seasonal events from planning through execution. Develop detailed event timelines and checklists. Communicate with instructors, vendors, sponsors, and community partners. Coordinate rentals, supplies, and event logistics. Manage registrations and attendee communication. Create setup and breakdown plans for staff. Ensure every detail is completed before each event. Be present during events to oversee execution and troubleshoot as needed. Conduct post-event reviews and recommend improvements. You Are Extremely organized. Calm under pressure. Proactive and able to solve problems independently. Detail-oriented and dependable. Friendly and professional when working with vendors and guests. Comfortable managing many moving pieces at once. Excited to help create memorable experiences for our community.
Experience Preferred:
Event coordination Wedding, nonprofit, hospitality, retail, or community event experience Project management experience Strong communication skills What Success Looks Like The owner provides the vision, theme, and overall direction. You take ownership of turning that vision into a seamless, well-executed event while keeping everyone informed and every detail on track.
