Job Description

Job Summary Ann Arbor's premier social club and events venue is seeking an Events Facilities Staff Member who is capable of assisting with the breakdown of Special Events, including weddings, university, and corporate functions, private parties, etc. Part Time ~ About 13-20 hours per week.
When scheduled for weddings:
Report time is usually 6 pm. Weddings are held Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays but not every weekend has weddings all three days. Staff will be required to regularly perform many tasks requiring the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Must be highly motivated, customer service oriented, reliable, and possess a strong work ethic. Job Type:
Part-time Responsibilities Assist in breaking down event spaces, including staging, seating arrangements, and technical equipment. Provide exceptional guest services by answering questions, guiding visitors, and ensuring a smooth event flow. Manage facility cleanliness and safety standards to ensure a pristine environment for all attendees. Support conflict management by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues when necessary. Collaborate with event coordinators, performers, and vendors to ensure all logistical needs are met efficiently. Maintain equipment, supplies, and facilities in top condition through regular inspections and reporting maintenance needs. Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, carry, move equipment as needed. Background in food service or hospitality enhances your ability to support various event needs. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
Pay:
$16.50 - $18.50 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
