This is a hands-on, fast-paced role for someone who enjoys variety, physical work, organization, and being part of beautiful events. No prior floral experience is required — just a strong work ethic and interest in learning. If you've ever been curious about working in the floral or event industry, this is a great place to start. What You'll Do Retail & Shop Support Check in and quality-check daily floral deliveries Monitor and maintain inventory (flowers, supplies, retail items, event rentals) Keep shop space clean, organized, and aligned with UFS standards Assist with opening and closing procedures Answer phones and help customers with order intake Support designers and management with daily shop tasks Delivery & Logistics Drive the UFS van safely and professionally Complete daily retail delivery routes (up to 30 orders) Package and secure floral arrangements for transport Communicate clearly with customers regarding delivery status Represent the UFS brand professionally while on-site Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicles Event Production Support Assist with event deliveries, installations, and tear downs Load and unload event materials efficiently Support floral installations and mechanics Help execute professional event setups with attention to detail Clean and organize tools and equipment after events Be available for occasional early mornings, evenings, and weekends Assist with late-night wedding tear downs (premium pay rate available) What We're Looking For Ability to lift 30 lbs independently and 50 lbs assisted Comfortable driving company vehicles Reliable, punctual, and organized Strong communication skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team environment Positive attitude and willingness to learn Floral experience is not required. Interest in flowers, design, events, or small business is a plus. Growth Opportunity This role is designed as an entry point into the floral and event industry. Team members who show initiative and interest will have opportunities to: Learn floral mechanics and production Assist designers on events Grow into design or senior operations roles over time Schedule Full-time (40 hours per week) Monday-Saturday availability required (rotating schedule) Compensation Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
