Job Description

Stu-Cle Reg CFE Stud Missions - Project Launch position is responsible for the development, coordination, and execution of student-led mission initiatives. This role supports the full lifecycle of mission projects—from initial planning and recruitment to implementation and evaluation—ensuring that each experience is spiritually grounded, well-organized, and impactful. The position works collaboratively with student leaders, campus partners, and mission sites to cultivate meaningful service opportunities that promote leadership development, cross-cultural engagement, and a commitment to service. Qualifications summary Commitment to the mission and values of Seventh-day Adventist Church and Andrews University Strong organizational and project management skills Experience in missions, service leadership, or community engagement preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively Demonstrated cultural awareness and adaptability in diverse environments Duties and responsibilities Coordinate and oversee the planning and launch of student mission projects - including but not limited to church and school visits Coordinate and sustain follow-up communication with churches, individuals, and Project Launch partners Assist in planning and executing Student Missions events and programs on campus to promote engagement and awareness Support recruitment efforts for student missionaries through outreach, events, and collaboration with campus partners Collaborate with campus departments, student organizations, and external partners to expand mission opportunities Provide support during mission experiences, including on-site leadership when needed Supervisory responsibilities N/A Qualifications Proficiency in project coordination, event planning, and logistics management Demonstrates a heart for missions with a teachable spirit and willingness to learn Ability to use standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace) Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively in team settings Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities in dynamic environments Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment Technical competencies N/A Interpersonal interactions N/A Physical demands Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods during events and activities Ability to travel domestically as needed for programs Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends Ability to adapt to various environments, including outdoor and cross-cultural settings Work environment Primarily office-based with regular involvement in campus events and programming Frequent interaction with students, staff, and external partners in both indoor and outdoor settings May include travel to domestic mission sites Work environment may vary depending on event locations and cross-cultural contexts
