Assist with fostering the development of student organizations. Job Responsibilities Assist in planning Student Life & Leadership programs and events. Assist with event needs, including setting up rooms, furniture and audio-visual equipment as assigned. Decorate for planned events. Assist with posting fliers on campus bulletin boards. Assist with marketing events and programs, including through social media and various campus channels. Promote and assist organizations. Assist with maintaining and updating network files. Assist student organizations with paperwork, forms and requests. Keep records of student club programs and events. Take and maintain photographs of all events. Maintain display case and bulletin boards, changing as needed. Assist with passive programming and volunteer events. Provide customer service to students, including greeting at the door and answering phones and acting as a point of contact for office inquiries. Assist with conducting inventory of office supplies and give-a-ways. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Some experience in planning and organizing programs and events. Experience with high school or work-related organizations and community service programs preferred.
