Responsibilities Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand event objectives, themes, and specific requirements. Develop comprehensive event plans, including timelines, budgets, vendor coordination, and logistical arrangements. Negotiate contracts with venues, caterers, entertainment providers, and other vendors to secure optimal terms and services. Coordinate all aspects of event setup, including catering, décor, technical equipment, and guest accommodations. Manage event marketing efforts to promote events effectively through various channels and maximize attendance. Oversee on-site event execution, ensuring smooth operations from start to finish while troubleshooting any issues that arise. Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback, analyze success metrics, and identify areas for improvement for future events. Skills Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable contracts and vendor agreements. Proficiency in marketing strategies tailored to promote events and increase engagement. Ability to upsell additional services or upgrades that enhance the overall event experience. Expertise in event marketing and event planning processes from conception through completion. Excellent customer service skills to ensure guest satisfaction at every touchpoint. Superior time management and organizational skills to handle multiple events simultaneously with precision. Experience managing budgets effectively while maintaining quality standards. Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, team members, and guests. Knowledge of banquet operations, catering logistics, hotel or restaurant experience preferred. Familiarity with contracts, venue management systems, fundraising activities, and hospitality industry standards.
