Event Assistant/Appointment Setter

Job Overview Paragon Retirement Planning is a growing financial advisory firm in Troy that hosts educational events and workshops to help families make better decisions about retirement, taxes, and financial planning. We are looking for a reliable, outgoing part-time Event Assistant to help support our public events and workshops. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people and helping create a welcoming experience for event attendees. Responsibilities Assist with setup and breakdown for educational workshops and events Greet attendees and help manage check-in Help attendees schedule follow-up appointments with our advisors Comfortably inviting event attendees to schedule a complimentary consultation with our advisors Maintain a professional and welcoming environment at events Organize event materials, sign-in sheets, and supplies Support the team with basic event logistics as needed Schedule Part-time Typically 6 hours per week Combination of day time and evening events, 2 events per week, 3 hours each from set up to the event being over Events are typically held in the Troy and surrounding metro Detroit area Qualifications Friendly and comfortable interacting with new people Organized and dependable Strong communication skills Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to lift and transport small event materials (signage, boxes, etc.) Potential bonus for appointments scheduled at events About Paragon Paragon Retirement Planning is committed to delivering great experiences for clients while operating with integrity, gratitude, humility, and a growth mindset.

Pay:
