Job Description

Assist with the execution of events held on the University of Central Missouri Warrensburg campus. Serve as the point of contact for clients during events, addressing any issues or concerns that arise. Communicate client requirements to relevant service centers to ensure smooth event operations. Act as a resource for students, staff, and guests while enforcing University policies.
Duties Include:
Unlock and inspect event rooms before and after each event to ensure all details are in place—rooms are set according to event specifications, AV equipment is operational, and spaces are secured post-event. Use the university's scheduling software, 25 Live, to generate reports and verify event information. Perform front desk duties, including answering phones, addressing client inquiries, and troubleshooting event-related issues. Complete a shift report noting incidences, questions, or problems that occur during the shift. Read, understand, and continue to learn all operations and procedures required of a Campus Event Manager.
Education:
A student at the University of Central Missouri enrolled full-time with a minimum GPA of 2.5 points.
Experience:
Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills, with the capability to address client needs quickly. Able to work independently and as part of a team, efficiently accomplishing responsibilities with minimal on-site supervision.
Working Days and Hours:
No more than 20 hours a week Sunday-Saturday. Availability to work evenings and weekends on the UCM Warrensburg campus.
