Job Description
Essential Duties Assist in the planning and organization of MUW Alumni Association (MUWAA) fundraising auctions, including acquiring auction items, coordinating logistics, and managing event materials. Conduct research to identify potential donors, sponsors, and auction items to enhance event offerings. Collaborate with the MUW Office of Development and Alumni team, and the MUWAA Special Events Committee to create promotional materials for auctions, including social media content, and email campaigns. Support the development of auction catalogs and item descriptions, ensuring accuracy and appeal to potential bidders. Assist during auction events by managing auction items, facilitating bidder inquiries, and supporting the MUW Special Events Committee as needed Aid in post-event activities, including donor acknowledgments, data entry, shipping items, and event evaluation. May include some auction wrap up responsibilities. Minimum Qualifications Pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, or related field. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy in donor communications and event materials. Maintain professionalism, adhering to MUW policies and ethical standard while upholding confidentiality to ensure the protection and security of sensitive donor information. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with fundraising software, social media content creation, graphic design, or databases is a plus. Passion for our organization's mission and a desire to contribute to fundraising efforts.
