Job Description

Job Summary The Indoor Play Assistant is the key point of contact for families and guests celebrating special occasions and supervising open play sessions. This role involves planning, coordinating, and hosting birthday parties and special events, open play managing to ensuring a fun, safe, and memorable experience for every guest. The ideal candidate is energetic, highly organized, great with children and families, and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome party families and guests with warmth and professionalism Coordinate and execute all aspects of birthday parties and special events, including setup, hosting, serving food, facilitating activities, and cleanup Ensure all party logistics run smoothly and on time, following established party schedules and procedures Communicate clearly with parents and caregivers before and during events to confirm details and expectations Supervise children in the play area to maintain a safe, inclusive, and fun environment Manage party supplies, decorations, and inventory Collaborate with the team to keep the facility clean, organized, and presentable Assist with promotional activities and marketing events as needed Resolve guest concerns or escalate to management when appropriate Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in hospitality, education, or child development is a plus Experience working with children in a party, camp, education, or play space setting Outgoing personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time-management abilities Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as required Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
