Senior Single-Event Manager

Job Description Insight Global is assisting a legal services client of ours in identifying a Senior Single-Event Manager for a new team they are building out.

• Conduct interviews and follow-ups with claimants or their representatives who are victims of single-event and catastrophic personal injury cases, nursing home abuse, or have a general personal injury claim.
• Conducts investigations from inception to settlement/trial, from intake and pre-litigation, through litigation and into settlement/trial.
• Coordinating and following up on the retrieval of claimant's records.
• Review medical records, annotating records following our robust bookmarking procedures, as well as follow all necessary pre-litigation steps and procedures.
• Draft pleadings, interrogatories, and other litigation-related documents.
• Point of contact for your claimants, providing updates to their claim, as well as for insurance adjusters, defense counsel, court clerks, process servers and other relevant parties.
• Interprets and disseminates information concerning claims and casework to supervisors
• Undertake a variety of administrative duties such as scheduling claimant appointments, managing calendars, and maintaining up-to-date case notes We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.

• Has an AA Degree as well as superior experience and knowledge working in a Personal Injury, MedMal or Insurance Defense legal practice, working from case inception to settlement and/or trial, and understands in the ins-and-outs of how a case flows and operates.
• Extensive experience in Personal Injury claims
• Experience being a lead, supervisor, or manager of a legal claims team or similar
• Highly organized and thorough in keeping current claimants informed and their case moving
• Skilled in data entry with various software programs, including E-Filing.
