  • Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Restaurant Event Coordinator to lead the planning, marketing, and execution of exceptional events within our hospitality venue.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to create memorable experiences for guests while showcasing your expertise in event management, customer service, and hospitality. As a key team member, you will coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless event operations, promote upcoming events through marketing initiatives, and deliver outstanding guest services that elevate our reputation. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will drive the success of each event, making every occasion special and engaging. Duties Collaborate with clients to understand their event needs, preferences, and budgets, providing expert guidance throughout the planning process Develop comprehensive event plans including menus, layouts, timelines, and vendor arrangements such as catering and entertainment Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and clients to secure favorable terms while ensuring quality standards are met Coordinate all aspects of event setup, including décor, seating arrangements, audio-visual equipment, and catering services Implement targeted marketing strategies for upcoming events through social media, email campaigns, and local outreach to maximize attendance Upsell additional services or packages to enhance guest experiences and increase revenue opportunities Manage event budgets meticulously, tracking expenses and ensuring profitability without compromising quality Oversee on-site event execution, supervising staff and vendors to guarantee smooth operations from start to finish Provide exceptional guest service by addressing inquiries promptly and resolving any issues efficiently during events Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback for continuous improvement and future planning Qualifications Proven experience in event planning or management within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment with banquet experience preferred Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure contracts and favorable vendor agreements Excellent marketing acumen with a focus on event marketing and promotion strategies Demonstrated upselling capabilities to enhance revenue streams through additional offerings or packages Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly yet professional demeanor Effective time management skills to handle multiple events simultaneously under tight deadlines Proficiency in events management software, budgeting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency in social media and creating content.
