Job Description

We're looking for an Events Assistant to help us plan and pull off everything from small private functions to large corporate events. You'll work alongside our events team on the details that keep a day running smoothly. That means prepping materials, coordinating with vendors, setting up and breaking down spaces, and staying on hand during the event to keep things on track. Responsibilities Supporting the events team through planning, setup, execution, and breakdown Coordinating with vendors, caterers, and venue staff on timing, deliveries, and setup details Managing guest lists, check-in, and registration on the day of the event Setting up and tearing down spaces, including signage, seating, displays, and basic AV Tracking supplies and inventory, and making sure everything's accounted for before and after each event Being a reliable point of contact for guests and staff during events, handling questions and small problems as they come up What we're looking for Some experience in events, hospitality, or another role where you juggled moving parts under a deadline. Internships and volunteer event work count. A genuinely organized person. You keep track of details, follow a run-of-show, and don't let things slip through the cracks. Comfortable on your feet for long stretches and able to lift and move event materials. Calm and personable under pressure, especially when plans change last minute, which they will. Flexible availability. Events happen on evenings, weekends, and holidays, so this isn't a standard nine-to-five. What we offer $20-$26/hr, depending on experience Paid time off that accrues from your first day Health, dental, and vision coverage after 60 days A varied schedule and the chance to learn the events business from the ground up To apply Send us your resume along with a short note about any events you've helped run or work on.
