Job Description

We are currently looking for a Full Time Player Development Event Supervisor to join our WinStar Player Development Unit 2 team located at the WinStar World Casino and Resort working 6:00AM-2:30PM

Summary:
Owns the Player Development events function: planning, staffing, and evaluating on-property and off-property VIP events and holding the events calendar and ROI reporting that lets Player Development plan patron outreach ahead of, rather than react to, each event.
Responsibilities:
  • Performs all other duties as assigned
  • Develops and maintains documentation as appropriate
  • files, logs, records, reports, etc.
  • Maintains confidentiality, security, and integrity of data and information
  • Ensures employees and resources complete assigned training and development
  • Maintains knowledge of, follows, and enforces all rules, regulations, policies and guidelines for assigned area
  • Prepares weekly reports
  • Mentors, coaches, develops and assists in training in assigned area
  • Assigns, reviews, monitors and ensures performance of assigned staff for area of responsibility
  • Participates in candidate selection process
  • Assigns tasks and responsibilities of assigned staff
  • Reviews and documents work effectiveness of assigned staff
  • Coaches and corrects assigned staff through performance deficiencies
  • Observes and documents work behaviors of assigned staff
  • Ensures cooperative and respectful work relationship of assigned staff including interpersonal training and resolving internal issues
  • Ensures compliance with all laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines for assigned work area
  • May be required to act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the manager to ensure all operational standards are maintained
  • Directly supervises
Player Development Event Hosts:
coaching, performance management, scheduling, and annual evaluations
  • Owns the Player Development events calendar and shares it with the department at least the standard advance notice window ahead of each event
  • Approves event budgets, ticket allocations, and staffing plans, and reviews pre
  • and post-event proformas built by Event Hosts
  • Sets event-specific success metrics (cost per head, guest satisfaction, incremental play) distinct from acquisition-focused host metrics, and reports results to the Player Development Manager
  • Serves as Player Development's counterpart to the Marketing events-planning function and outside event partners, ensuring Player Development has a seat at the table during event planning rather than only execution
  • Reviews concert and premium-seating ticket allocation to ensure hosted and high-value patrons receive an experience consistent with their value to the property
  • Coordinates off-property partner event logistics, including venue relationships, ticket blocks, and group coordination
  • Conducts post-event debriefs and maintains a record of lessons learned to improve planning for recurring events
  • Participates in interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training for the Player Development Event Host role

Casino Management System:
Bally's ACSC, with emphasis on the Gaming Analyst settings
  • Knowledge of event management processes such as food and beverage ratios, transportation industry requirements, staffing ratios, vendor management, security and legal issues
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple requests in parallel
  • Able to verbally communicate in a professional and positive manner with other team members, departments, guests and management
  • Writes effective communications with team, departments, guests and management
Skills:
