Mayday Ice Cream & The Hyppo Gourmet Ice Pops - North East Florida Mayday Ice Cream and The Hyppo Gourmet Ice Pops are part of a growing family of handcrafted dessert concepts rooted in creativity, quality, and genuine hospitality. Founded in 2010 in historic St. Augustine, The Hyppo built its name on artisan, all-natural ice pops made with real ingredients and bold flavors. In 2018, Mayday Ice Cream joined the family, bringing the same passion to small-batch, thoughtfully crafted ice cream. Today, with more than 14 retail locations, a thriving wholesale program, and a growing events presence, we're continuing to expand—and we're looking for an energetic and dependable Events Assistant to support our NE Florida region. This is a dynamic, hands-on role perfect for someone who enjoys being on the move, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and loves creating memorable experiences for guests. As an Events Assistant, you'll work closely with the NE Florida Events Manager to help bring our brand to life at events throughout the region. You'll assist with event coordination and scheduling, communicate with clients and partners, and play an active role on-site—serving ice cream and pops from our events truck or cart while delivering exceptional customer service. From setup to breakdown, you'll help ensure every event runs smoothly, looks great, and leaves a lasting impression. Our ideal candidate is friendly, organized, and self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and a positive, team-first attitude. You enjoy interacting with people, can juggle multiple responsibilities, and are just as comfortable working independently as you are alongside a team. What You'll Do Support the NE Florida Events Manager with event scheduling and coordination Communicate with clients and partners to ensure seamless event execution Work events using our truck (Transit Van) or cart to serve ice cream and ice pops Deliver a fun, engaging, and high-quality guest experience at every event Assist with loading, unloading, setup, and breakdown of event materials Help maintain an organized, efficient, and visually appealing event presence What We're Looking For Ability to lift 50+ pounds Comfortable driving larger vehicles, including a Transit Van Based within 20 minutes of St. Augustine, FL Availability for weekdays and weekends (hours vary seasonally) Strong communication skills and attention to detail Self-starter mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities A positive, outgoing personality with a passion for hospitality A love for ice cream and ice pops is a must What We Offer Competitive pay A fun, fast-paced, and supportive team environment Opportunities to be part of exciting events across the North East Florida area And of course… plenty of ice cream and pops
