Event Coordinator

Messy Jesse's is looking for an experienced Event Coordinator to help secure and manage high-volume food truck events throughout Florida and the Orlando area. This role requires someone highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of operating at a high level without constant supervision.

Responsibilities include:

Researching and identifying high-quality festivals, concerts, fairs, corporate events, and large-scale food truck opportunities throughout Florida Vetting events based on strict internal criteria including attendance, event history, logistics, profitability, and overall fit for the brand Ensuring events meet required minimums before booking, unless the event is a proven large-scale festival opportunity Completing event applications accurately and professionally Coordinating permits, health inspections, fire inspections, and communication with city, county, and state government organizations Managing deadlines, schedules, and operational calendars Ensuring all contractual obligations, operational requirements, and timelines are followed properly Maintaining organized records of applications, approvals, payments, permits, and event details Communicating professionally with event organizers and the Messy Jesse's team

Compensation:

$50 flat payment per booked event Plus 5% commission on the booked event total

Examples:

A $1,500 event pays an additional $75 commission A $15,000 event pays an additional $750 commission The ideal candidate is dependable, aggressive in finding opportunities, highly organized under pressure, and experienced in event coordination, concessions, festivals, or hospitality operations. Experience dealing with permits, inspections, and large-scale events in Florida is strongly preferred.
