Lead Planner & Coordinator

Love & Life Events | Southern California Love & Life Events is growing, and we're looking for a Lead Planner & Coordinator to join our team of passionate, detail-driven wedding professionals. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves client interaction, and can confidently lead weddings from planning through execution. About the Role As a Lead Planner, you will act as the primary main point of contact for the client from the start of their service package, on-site lead for weddings, and close out after the wedding day... ensuring every detail is executed beautifully and professionally. You'll work closely with our clients, vendor teams, and internal planners to bring each event to life while upholding the Love & Life Events brand experience. This is a per contract-based role with flexible availability, primarily on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday weekends, with planning support leading up to the wedding day depending on the service package. Responsibilities Serve as Lead Coordinator or Event Coordinator for assigned weddings or events Manage wedding day timelines, logistics, and flow Oversee vendor arrival, setup, execution, and breakdown Lead rehearsal coordination when included in the client's package Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and vendor teams Handle day-of problem solving with confidence and grace Represent Love & Life Events with professionalism, warmth, and leadership Support planning tasks prior to the event depending on service level Ensure all details align with the couple's vision and expectations Qualifications Prior experience in wedding planning, coordination, or events (required) at least 2 years+ Strong leadership and communication skills Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Calm under pressure with excellent problem-solving abilities Comfortable leading teams and managing multiple vendors Professional demeanor with a warm, client-first mindset Reliable transportation and ability to work weekends Based in or able to travel within Southern California Compensation & Perks Pay per wedding: $800 - $5k per event , depending on: Service package Scope of responsibility Planning involvement Experience in industry Sales & bonus commissions&gratuities available for: Client referrals Upsells and add-on services Opportunity for consistent bookings and growth within the company Work with a supportive, professional, and fun team Access to high-end weddings and luxury clientele Why Love & Life Events We believe in intentional planning, elevated experiences, and genuine connection .
