Grassroots Development Manager About the Role Love soccer and great events? NorCal Premier Soccer is hiring a Playdate Coordinator to plan, run, and grow our Playdates program — fun, well-organized soccer events that bring together players, families, and member clubs across Northern California. This is a hybrid role that blends behind-the-scenes coordination with hands-on event-day leadership. If you're organized, proactive, and love seeing a plan come together on the field, we'd like to meet you. What You'll Do Plan and Coordinate Events Partner with host clubs to schedule and secure sites in line with the competition calendar Build event applications in collaboration with our Admin and Finance teams Open registration, support event marketing, and screen applications for age group, team history, and contact accuracy Respond to all event inquiries within 24 hours Work with Finance to ensure the timely collection of event fees Run Day-to-Day Operations Create and communicate event schedules to teams, referees, and site staff Develop and manage a clear communication plan for participating teams Rule on game-related issues as they come up Maintain accurate event records throughout the season Lead On-Site Oversee Playdate sites, including site staff and volunteers Coordinate with host clubs on setup, maintenance, referees, and volunteer support Work with the Event Manager on NorCal equipment delivery, setup, and breakdown Partner with the NorCal media team on event coverage Distribute schedules to site coordinators, referee assignors, clubs, and park management Support Program Growth Maintain the event website with the Admin team Deliver reports to the Director of Competitions as requested Attend program meetings and contribute ideas for ongoing improvements to NorCal Admin and the Board What We're Looking For A working knowledge of soccer Experience in competition management, event operations, or sports administration Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication Top-notch customer service — including grace under pressure Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Word and Excel, and GotSport (or similar platforms) Willingness to work outdoors in variable weather Who Thrives Here You're motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented. You can run with a project independently, but you also play well on a team. You hit deadlines, hold yourself to a high standard, and represent NorCal Premier Soccer professionally in every interaction. Compensation $30-$40 per hour, based on experience.Similar remote jobs
