About King University Founded in 1867, King University is a comprehensive Christian university located in Bristol, Tennessee. King is dedicated to providing students with a rich and rigorous academic experience that integrates faith, learning, and service in a close-knit, student-centered community. King University is accepting applications for the position of Event Management and Operations Graduate Assistant. The successful candidate will serve as the primary event manager for all King Athletics home events, and provide support to the Athletics Communications office as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates should possess knowledge and interest in athletic event management, and a general understanding of athletics. A bachelor's degree, as well as admission to an approved graduate program at King University, is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience participating in a sport at the collegiate level. Supervisory and/or leadership experience in some capacity.
Responsibilities:
Work home athletic events, including frequent nights and weekends. Provide support as requested in all areas of Athletic Communications, potentially including social media, managing the website, communication with the conference office, and statistical support for all sports.
Language:
Proficiency in written and spoken English required
