This role is vital in creating memorable experiences for clients and guests by managing all aspects of event logistics, vendor relationships, and on-site coordination. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, exceptional organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. As an Event Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring each event runs smoothly from start to finish, delivering outstanding customer service and exceeding expectations. Responsibilities Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget for each event, providing expert guidance on event marketing and planning strategies. Coordinate all logistical details including venue setup, catering arrangements, audiovisual needs, decorations, and guest accommodations. Manage event budgets meticulously, tracking expenses and identifying opportunities for upselling additional services or enhancements. Ensure seamless guest services by supervising registration processes, guest experience, and addressing any issues promptly during events. Develop detailed timelines and checklists to ensure timely execution of all event components while maintaining excellent communication with team members Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback, analyze success metrics, and identify areas for improvement to enhance future events. Qualifications Proven experience in event planning or management within hospitality settings such as hotels, restaurants, or banquet facilities. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable contracts and vendor agreements. Demonstrated ability in upselling additional services or upgrades to enhance event revenue. Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail and time management abilities. Customer service-oriented mindset with a talent for creating memorable guest experiences. Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial management related to events. Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, team members, and guests. Experience in banquet operations or catering services is highly desirable. Knowledge of contracts, event marketing strategies, fundraising activities, and hospitality industry standards is a plus.
