Description Benefits Questions Duties and Responsibilities Essential Job Functions:
Assists in event facility rental; negotiates contracts with lessees in accordance with established policies and procedures; establishes and maintains events calendar; coordinates lessee meetings and post event follow-up. Generate and maintain client files that consist of various documents: contracts, insurance, deposits, riders, and other event related documents. Answers multi-line telephone; receives and screens visitors; refers telephone calls to appropriate personnel; performs a variety of administrative and clerical work of a specialized, confidential and complex nature; maintains frequent contact with clients. Monitor facility use during scheduled events.

Working Conditions Working Conditions:
This position requires 100% on-site work. Works varying schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and split shifts. Subject to extreme noise, working indoors and outdoors.
Minimum Essential Qualifications Knowledge :
Knowledge of event planning; sales and marketing; and customer service techniques.
Skills/Abilities:
Excellent organizational and customer service skills; ability to work well with staff, and other city departments.
Physical Requirements:
Constantly sees, hears, sits, types, operates a PC and writes by hand; frequently files, sorts, twist body, pushes, pulls, lifts or carries objects weighing up to 25 lbs, stands, walks, operates a calculator, enters data and drives; infrequently kneels, cleans.
Education/Experience:
Graduation from high school with three (3) years of experience in event planning, sales, marketing, or customer service.
