In this role, you will be the driving force behind seamless event operations, ensuring every detail is meticulously managed from inception to completion. Responsibilities Plan and execute a wide range of events, including conferences, fundraisers, galas, and corporate functions Develop event concepts and themes that align with the organization's goals and objectives Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure all event logistics are in place Manage event budgets and timelines to ensure successful execution Oversee event marketing efforts to drive attendance and engagement Collaborate with sponsors and partners to maximize event exposure and fundraising opportunities Provide exceptional customer service to clients, guests, and stakeholders throughout the event planning process Supervise event staff and volunteers to ensure smooth operations during events Conduct post-event evaluations to measure success and identify areas for improvement Requirements Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable contracts and pricing Proven experience in event planning, management, and marketing within the hospitality or related industries Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and event management software tools Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or related field (preferred) Proven experience in event planning or management roles Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients, vendors, and team members Proficient in event marketing strategies and techniques Knowledge of fundraising principles and techniques (preferred) Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Proficiency in time management to ensure timely completion of tasks Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences
