POSITION PURPOSE
: The Development Coordinator supports the Development Department by planning, organizing, and executing events that promote community engagement and generate financial support for The Children's Home of Lubbock. This position plays a key role in coordinating fundraising events, cultivating donor and business relationships, and ensuring that each event reflects the mission and values of the organization.

Full Time, Non Exempt PAY :
$21.15/hr
RESPONSIBILITIES
: Supports fundraising efforts by helping cultivate and steward donors through calls, notes, events, and regular communication. Assists in identifying new donor prospects and building relationships with individuals, churches, and community partners. Organize projects for public and business participation Coordinate and oversee the three main fundraising events: the annual Golf Tournament, Fall Festival, and Spring Event
JOB SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for liaising with clients, vendors, and internal teams. Strong creative problem-solving skills are needed to handle unforeseen issues and make quick decisions. The ability to negotiate with vendors and suppliers for the best rates and services Proficiency in programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is a standard requirement. General Qualifications for
All Employees of The Children's Home of Lubbock:
Must be 21 years of age per licensing standards. Be able to read, write and communicate with co-workers, medical personnel and other persons necessary to care for the young adult's needs. Have a Valid Texas Driver's License. Exhibit behavior and health status that does not present a danger to young adult in care. Meet the requirements of licensing standards in regards to a criminal background check. Be physically, mentally and emotionally capable of performing assigned tasks and have the skills necessary to perform assigned tasks. Commit to the seven values of
