Full Job Description Position Summary:

The Coach at The Little Gym is responsible for leading engaging, high-energy classes that promote physical, cognitive, and social development in children ages 4 months to 12 years. This role focuses on creating a fun, safe, and nurturing environment where children can build confidence, develop motor skills, and grow through structured activities and play-based learning. The Coach also plays a key role in planning and coordinating events that enhance the overall member experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and instruct age-appropriate classes using The Little Gym curriculum Create a positive, energetic, and encouraging atmosphere for children and families Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during classes and events Track and communicate student progress with parents/guardians Plan, coordinate, and assist with birthday parties, camps, and special events Help organize and execute in-gym events, promotions, and community outreach activities Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gym facility Build strong relationships with members and provide excellent customer service Support membership growth through retention, referrals, and event engagement

Qualifications:

Experience working with children (coaching, teaching, childcare, etc.) preferred Energetic, outgoing, and enthusiastic personality Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lead groups and manage varying energy levels Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for event coordination Willingness to learn and follow The Little Gym training program Physical ability to demonstrate activities and assist children as needed
