Job Description
Prospect Wire is a well-established amateur baseball event company. We have been successfully providing teams, players, and families across the country with the opportunity for advancement and exposure. We operate under the DS Sports Ventures umbrella and currently operate out of Florida, Arizona, California, and Utah. The Merchandise Operator position puts you in control of all Prospect Wire related items for an entire weekend and allows you to interact with customers with a certain degree of independence.
Qualifications:
Background in customer service or other public-facing positions An interest in sales and apparel Organized, Detail Oriented, and Self-Motivated A functioning smartphone and app-storeResponsibilities:
Download and log-in to SwipeSimple from the app store Set-up, organize, and take-down your station according to the guidelines provided in the event Telegram channel. Some sites will have a trailer, some will not. Do your best to learn the prices of commonly sold items (100% Sunglasses, Prospect Wire shirts & hats) Learn the name of your complex manager and flag them down in the case there is a question you cannot or do not feel comfortable answering Introduce yourself to each parent or player who approaches the set-up and provide quality customer serviceAdditional Information:
Candidates must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on event schedules. Opportunities for travel may be available, depending on the scope of events and organizational needs. Pay is $15/hr. Gas reimbursements, Lodging Accommodations (if necessary), and lunch will be provided each day of the event in addition to your pay-rate.
