We have been successfully providing teams, players, and families across the country with the opportunity for advancement and exposure. We operate under the DS Sports Ventures umbrella and currently operate out of Florida, Arizona, California, and Utah. The Gate Worker position is crucial to the success of our events because the people who fill that role are on the front lines of customer service.
Qualifications:
Background in customer service or other public-facing positions A functioning smartphone and camera
Job Duties:
Set-up and take-down your gate based on the guidelines provided to you in the event Telegram channel Customers will scan a QR code on an A-Frame outside of your gate and purchase their tickets digitally. You will scan the code provided to them on your smartphone to allow them through the gate. Introduce yourself to each customer and walk them through the process in the previous bullet point Address umpires, coaches, and players kindly and remember that they do not need to purchase a ticket to enter. Keeping everyone happy is crucial to a successful event.
Additional Information:
Candidates must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on event schedules. Opportunities for travel may be available, depending on the scope of events and organizational needs. Pay is $15/hr. Gas reimbursements, Lodging Accommodations (if necessary), and lunch will be provided each day of the event in addition to your pay-rate.
