Job Description

About Us:
New Field Farm at Timber Ridge is a one-of-a-kind historic farm turned event venue nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The venue is a 200+ year-old, picturesque 238-acre farm located just minutes from downtown Lexington, and the intersection of Route 64 and I-81. The company is family owned and quickly expanding. We are looking for staff that reflect our mission, values and have necessary skills to keep up!
Position Summary:
Onsite position. Will work weekends in which we have events and interact with clients to smoothly operate, direct and support event activities and needs. This position is flexible in hours as this position will work when events are being hosted. Shifts are between 4 to 8 hours. During events, this position requires staff to help with parking, directing guests to events, lifting and arranging tables and chairs, and cleaning up. About the
Role :
As part of our team, you'll help prepare the venue, support vendors, and ensure guests have a great experience. This job is a mix of practical tasks and guest interaction — sometimes you'll be behind the scenes cleaning or setting up, other times you'll be helping guests and answering questions. You'll need to be ready to drop what you're doing to assist guests or step in if there's an emergency. You'll always work with an Event Supervisor nearby, and breaks are built into the schedule.
Qualifications:
Applicant must have a valid license Customer service experience Able to lift and move heavy objects 16 years or older
Skills and Abilities Required:
Communication skills and willingness to actively engage with clients and their families Ability to respond quickly to requests and act independently as needed Ability to multitask and work underpressure Memorization skills to share accurate and pertinent information with guests
