This role is ideal for individuals who remain calm under pressure, enjoy working with the public, and are committed to maintaining a safe environment for guests and staff. Key Responsibilities Conduct routine patrols of designated areas and venues Maintain a visible security presence to deter unwanted activity Respond to incidents, emergencies, and guest concerns in a timely manner Document and report security-related incidents accurately Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted access areas Check identification and enforce venue age requirements Assist with crowd management and occupancy control Address policy violations and disruptive behavior professionally Coordinate with venue management and law enforcement when necessary Qualifications Must successfully pass a background screening Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to remain professional and make sound decisions in dynamic environments Experience in de-escalation and conflict management preferred Knowledge of Virginia ABC regulations and life safety practices is beneficial Previous security, military, law enforcement, hospitality, or related experience is preferred CPR and First Aid certification are advantageous Must possess or be eligible to obtain a
