Job Description

This position is a base salary PLUS commissions so the earning potential is HIGH. We're hiring an Event Coordinator who will sell, program, and execute events that drive revenue and deepen community. You'll convert inbound inquiries, run local outreach, program live music & special brewery events, and captain the floor when it's go time. You'll collaborate closely with our Executive Chef and GM to price, staff, and deliver events that feel uniquely Black Flannel. What You'll Do Event Sales & Pipeline Own the full sales funnel for private & semi-private events: respond to inquiries fast, qualify, tour, propose, contract, and collect deposits. Build outbound pipelines with local businesses, nonprofits, and community partners to keep the calendar full. (We target 2-4 events per week — you'll help grow and optimize that.) Coordinate menus, pricing, and staffing plans with the Executive Chef & GM ; submit kitchen orders accurately and on time. Programming & Talent Booking Book weekly live music and nurture a bench of reliable, on-brand acts. Ideate and schedule special formats (e.g., Trivia Night, Sip & Shop , pairing dinners, education classes) that fit our brand and audience. Support signature tentpoles like Lagerfest (early weekend in June) and Oktoberfest (last Saturday in September). Event Marketing & Guest Growth Partner with the marketing team to promote events across Instagram, Facebook, Email (9.5k subscribers), Website, and SMS; provide assets, lineups, and key selling points. Use tactics that work for us — behind-the-scenes content, clear event announcements, contests, and member/VIP outreach. Align programming with our 3-tier Membership community and members-only activations. Event Captaincy & Service Standards Serve as Event Captain for booked functions: lead pre-shift, timing, service flow, vendor coordination, and guest touch points. Model our B.L.(A.A.)S.T. service-recovery protocol (Believe, Listen, Apologize, Alert, Solve, Thank) and ensure the team does the same. Systems, Reporting & Cross-Functional Keep events calendar organized, BEOs accurate, & communication crisp across FOH/BOH. Help codify SOPs for event marketing and promotion so we can delegate and scale cleanly. Track post-event results and guest feedback to improve programming over time. Requirements 1-3+ years in event sales/coordination, hospitality, or venue programming. Demonstrated success converting inbound leads and building local partnerships. Vendor/talent management; experience booking live acts preferred. On-site leadership during events; able to lift/move event materials & stand for extended periods. Excellent writing, organization, and follow-through; familiarity with POS/CRM - Toast Events module specifically - a plus. What Success Looks Like (90 Days) Lead response time under 24 hours; pipeline and calendar humming. Clear booking process and BEO templates in place; Chef/GM feel looped-in and prepared. At least one new recurring program piloted (music series, education, or community partnership) that fits brand and guest. You'll Thrive Here If You… Are a proactive, self-managed operator with elite attention to detail & team-first instincts. Love craft culture and can speak beer/spirits with warmth & humility (educational tone, never pretentious).
Understand our guest:
local, community-minded, values quality, and returns for experiences — not discounts. Schedule & Compensation Full-time; evenings/weekends required based on event calendar.
