Outreach & Event Assistant for DSAW•Green Bay (Part-Time) Northeast Wisconsin (Green Bay Area) $15•18/hour
Employee Type:

This role offers the opportunity to build relationships, create memorable experiences, and share in the rewards of helping families feel connected, supported, and celebrated. Position Overview This part-time role focuses on supporting and hosting family and community events throughout Northeast Wisconsin. This position requires evening and weekend availability , as many events take place outside of traditional business hours.
Hours:
5-10 hours/week (not to exceed an AVERAGE of 25 hours per month) Increased availability needed during summer months Key Event Seasons Additional hours may be needed during: World Down Syndrome Day (March) Annual Awareness Walk (Fall) Key Responsibilities Event Hosting & Support (Primary Role) Attend and help facilitate family events (primarily evenings and weekends) Event setup, coordination, and breakdown Host and engage with families during programs and events Community Outreach Build relationships with families and community partners Represent DSAW at local community events Research and identify partnership opportunities within the Northeast WI region Team Support Assist the Outreach & Events Coordinator in planning and executing signature events Help ensure chapter events run smoothly and successfully Support fundraising efforts for events throughout the year Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Valid WI driver's license & reliable vehicle (adequate insurance coverage) Ability to lift up to 40 lbs Pass required background checks Availability for evenings, weekends, and summer events is required Preferred Experience but not necessary for the right candidate Nonprofit, event, or community involvement Familiarity with Google Workspace, Basecamp, and Canva What We're Looking For Friendly, outgoing, and welcoming personality Organized, dependable, and ability to multitask Strong interpersonal and communication skills Passion for working with individuals with disabilities Flexible and team-oriented Why Join DSAW?
