This role is vital in orchestrating a variety of events, managing client relationships, and executing strategic marketing campaigns that elevate brand presence and foster community engagement. As a Market Coordinator, you will be at the forefront of creating memorable experiences, coordinating logistics, and ensuring seamless communication across all stakeholders. Duties Assist in the planning and organizing of our local farmers markets. Coordinate with vendors, venues, caterers, and other partners to ensure all event logistics are flawlessly managed within budget. Develop compelling marketing materials and promotional strategies to attract target audiences and maximize event attendance. Manage event budgets meticulously, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effective resource allocation. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders. Oversee guest services during events, ensuring all attendees have a memorable experience. Collaborate with sales teams to identify new opportunities for event marketing and community engagement initiatives. Requirements Proficient in Microsoft Teams Experience using Canva Proven experience in event marketing, planning, or hospitality roles such as restaurant, hotel, or banquet management. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure advantageous contracts and partnerships. Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, vendors, and team members. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. Experience in budgeting and financial management related to event execution. Knowledge of marketing strategies including upselling techniques and promotional campaign development. Familiarity with catering operations, guest services, and hospitality standards is highly desirable. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as required by event schedules. Previous experience in fundraising or community outreach programs is a plus. Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly while maintaining attention to detail.
