Our mission is to bring the flavors of Japan to America through high-quality, authentic Japanese fast food. Our menu features Torikizoku's signature "Kizoku Yaki" yakitori , along with teriyaki chicken bowls, ramen, karaage, Japanese curry, and other Japanese comfort food favorites prepared with care and served quickly. As a Restaurant Team Member, you will play an important role in creating a great guest experience by preparing food, serving customers, operating the register, and maintaining a clean and organized restaurant. Depending on business needs, team members may work in both front-of-house and kitchen positions. This is an exciting opportunity to join a brand-new concept from day one and grow with a company that is working toward expanding its business throughout the United States. Responsibilities Prepare and assemble menu items according to company recipes and quality standards. Grill and prepare our signature Kizoku Yaki and other Japanese menu items. Prepare ramen, teriyaki chicken bowls, karaage, Japanese curry, and other menu items efficiently and consistently. Take customer orders and provide friendly, professional customer service. Operate the POS system and process payments accurately. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and food-handling procedures. Keep the kitchen, dining area, counters, and equipment clean and organized. Restock ingredients, packaging, utensils, and supplies throughout the shift. Assist with opening and closing duties. Work closely with teammates to provide fast, accurate, and welcoming service. Perform other duties as assigned to support restaurant operations. Qualifications Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. A valid Social Security Number (SSN) is required. Previous restaurant, fast food, retail, or customer service experience is preferred but not required. Experience with Japanese cuisine is a plus, but not required. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Reliable, punctual, and responsible. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to safely lift and carry up to 30 lbs. Weekend and holiday availability is a plus.
