$20-$23+ night shift differential About the Role Starter Bakery is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Night Finishing & Packing Team Member to join our night team. This role plays an important part in finishing, packaging, and preparing our high-quality pastries and baked goods so orders are accurate and ready for delivery each morning. What You'll Do Finish and decorate pastries according to established product specifications. Package pastries, breads, pies, quiches, and other baked goods with accuracy and attention to detail. Follow packing instructions and order specifications to ensure products are packed correctly. Complete required quality and accuracy checks before products are released for delivery. Label, organize, and prepare finished products for morning distribution. Maintain the safety, quality, and integrity of food products at all times. Prevent allergen cross-contact and follow all food safety and sanitation procedures. Safely operate bakery and packing equipment; training will be provided. Keep workstations clean, organized, and sanitized throughout the shift. Collaborate with team members and provide support across finishing and packing tasks as needed. Promptly report equipment issues, product shortages, quality concerns, or process deviations. Work efficiently to meet production and delivery timelines while maintaining quality and minimizing waste. What We're Looking For Previous experience in food production, bakery, packing, or manufacturing is preferred, but not required. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized procedures and instructions. Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and quality-control practices is preferred. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Reliable attendance and punctuality, particularly given the time-sensitive nature of the night shift. Ability to work night shifts, including weekends and some holidays. Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, repetitive motions, prolonged standing, and working in fluctuating temperatures. Why Join Starter Bakery?
