Responsibilities Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients with precision and care Support cooking activities by following recipes and ensuring proper food handling techniques are adhered to Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment regularly Help with meal assembly and plating to ensure presentation aligns with quality standards Follow all food safety protocols, including proper storage, temperature control, and hygiene practices Support catering events or special meal services as needed, ensuring timely delivery of quality dishes Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and seamless service flow Experience Previous experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly desirable Background in food service, restaurant work, or the food industry demonstrates valuable familiarity with kitchen environments Experience in fine dining settings enhances understanding of high-quality presentation and meticulous food handling Skills in food preparation, cooking, knife techniques, and meal assembly are essential for success in this role Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices is required to maintain a safe working environment Exposure to catering or large-scale meal preparation is a plus Strong teamwork skills combined with a passion for culinary excellence will help you thrive in this energetic setting
