Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Deli Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the daily operations of our deli department, providing excellent customer service and ensuring the highest quality of products are available to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with deli product selection and provide recommendations
• Prepare and package deli items such as sandwiches, salads, and meats
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli counter and food preparation areas
• Operate POS systems to process customer orders and handle transactions
• Follow food safety protocols to ensure the freshness and quality of products.
• Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and replenishing products as needed.
• Uphold a positive attitude and work collaboratively with team members to meet customer needs.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a deli or food service environment is preferred
• Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with customers
• Proficiency in using POS systems for order processing
• Basic culinary knowledge is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
