Compensation:
$18-$23 per hour, depending on experience
Hours:
Typically 8-30 hours per week when projects are active; hours vary according to project volume and are not guaranteed

About the Position Caring Transitions of the Angeles Foothills helps seniors and families manage relocations, downsizing, estate clear-outs, and online auctions. This is meaningful, hands-on work for someone who is compassionate, organized, dependable, and comfortable working in clients' homes. Team members are assigned responsibilities according to their experience, abilities, and training. Responsibilities Depending on the project and your skills, responsibilities may include: Sorting and organizing household contents Separating items into retain, auction, donate, dispose, and client-decision categories Professionally packing and labeling belongings Unpacking and organizing belongings in a new residence Grouping auction items into appropriate lots Photographing and measuring auction items Researching items and writing accurate auction listings Entering listings into the CTBids online auction platform Preparing approved donation items for pickup or delivery and placing approved disposal items in the designated area Assisting with estate clear-outs Treating clients, homes, and personal property with care and respect Following the Project Manager's instructions and completing assigned work efficiently Training will be provided based on assigned responsibilities.
Qualifications Successful candidates should have:
Reliability and punctuality Compassion and patience when working with seniors and families Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Respect for private homes and personal belongings The ability to follow written and verbal instructions The ability to work independently and as part of a team Comfort using an iPad or smartphone Dependable transportation to changing project locations Availability during daytime project hours Experience in estate sales, antiques, auctions, photography, online listings, professional packing, moving, organizing, or senior services is helpful but not required. Physical Requirements Frequent walking and standing Regular bending and reaching Ability to safely handle and carry light household items Comfort working in residential environments where conditions may vary No regular heavy lifting is required for this position What We Offer $18-$23 per hour, based on experience Approximately 8-30 hours per week when projects are active Flexible, project-based scheduling Online and on-site training Workers' compensation coverage W-2 employment A supportive team environment Meaningful work helping seniors and families through important life transitions Important Scheduling Information This is an on-demand, project-based position.
