Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist with their food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Operate cash registers efficiently, processing cash transactions and handling cash with accuracy. Prepare simple food items according to established standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance sales and improve customer satisfaction. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including food prep areas, dining spaces, and sanitation stations. Manage food service customer orders accurately while adhering to food safety guidelines and sanitation protocols. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, supporting overall food handling operations in line with health regulations. Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive guest experience. Assist in retail sales transactions when applicable, supporting overall store operations with professionalism. Skills Proven experience in quick service or fast-food restaurant environments with strong food handling skills. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing sales and managing transactions smoothly. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, order totaling, and change calculation. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest loyalty. Knowledge of food safety management practices including sanitation standards and proper food handling procedures. Experience operating kitchen equipment safely while maintaining a clean workspace in compliance with health regulations. Ability to upsell menu items confidently to boost sales opportunities.
