Duties Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to established recipes and customer preferences, ensuring freshness and presentation quality Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently Manage food handling responsibilities with strict adherence to food safety standards and sanitation protocols Assist customers with their orders, upselling menu items to enhance their experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain a clean workspace by regularly sanitizing surfaces, equipment, and utensils throughout your shift Handle cash register operations, process retail sales transactions, and accurately process cash and card payments Operate kitchen equipment safely, including slicing tools, to ensure efficient food preparation while following safety guidelines Requirements Previous experience in food preparation or quick service restaurant environments is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Basic math skills for cash handling, giving correct change, and managing sales totals Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Retail sales experience or experience working in a café or restaurant setting is advantageous Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends Join us as a Sandwich Artist where your energy fuels our success!
