Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other tools. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience as a Prep Cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and food handling practices. Familiarity with dietary needs and the ability to accommodate special requests. Excellent knife skills and proficiency with various kitchen equipment. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
