$25 / 8-hour day Position Overview The Runner II position provides on-site support for a live college football broadcast, building upon the foundational responsibilities of a Runner I. This role is ideal for someone with prior on-site production experience who understands the pace, professionalism, and coordination required in a live broadcast environment. The Runner II should be comfortable working independently with minimal supervision and responding quickly to the needs of production staff, talent, and other event personnel. Responsibilities- Run off-site errands and pick up or deliver production-related items as needed.
- Distribute materials, credentials, information, and other items to production staff and talent.
- Assist with talent arrivals, departures, transportation, and general on-site needs.
- Support production staff with time-sensitive tasks throughout the event day.
- Help maintain an organized and professional production environment.
- Communicate clearly with production personnel and promptly report any issues or changes.
- Follow directions while exercising good judgment when working independently.
- Assist with other reasonable production-support duties as assigned. Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must have a valid driver's license and be able to operate the on-site rental vehicle in accordance with ESPN policy.
- Prior on-site experience in live sports, broadcast, event production, or a similar environment is preferred.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, live-event environment.
- Reliable, punctual, professional, and able to work independently.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle time-sensitive assignments and adapt to changing production needs.
