- Drummer This is a ministry-focused position within a Christian church. Candidates should possess musical excellence, reliability, a servant's heart, and a willingness to support worship in both structured and spontaneous settings. Schedule Sunday Worship Service
- 9:00 AM
- 12:00 PM Weekly Rehearsal
Saturdays:
2:00 PM- 4:00 PM Additional services, conferences, and special events may occasionally require participation. Responsibilities
- Provide musical accompaniment during worship services and church events.
- Attend and actively participate in weekly rehearsals.
- Follow the direction of worship leaders and ministry leadership.
- Support free-flowing and spontaneous worship environments.
- Arrive prepared and on time for all scheduled services and rehearsals.
- Work effectively with singers and fellow musicians. Qualifications
- Proficiency in keyboard, piano, or drums.
- Ability to play contemporary worship, gospel, praise, and worship music
- Ability to play by ear is strongly preferred.
- Previous church or worship team experience is preferred.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must be at least 18 years of age. Ministry Requirements
- Must be willing to complete Church Membership Classes.
- Baptism by immersion is preferred.
- Applicants who have not been baptized must be willing to attend baptism classes.
- Must support and respect the church's Christian beliefs, mission, and ministry values.
- Must maintain conduct consistent with serving in a Christian ministry environment. Attendance Expectations
- Must arrive by 9:00 AM every Sunday.
- Must attend Saturday rehearsals at 2:00 PM.
- A minimum of 48 hours notice is required for planned absences unless an emergency occurs.
- Consistent attendance and punctuality are required. Conduct Standards As representatives of a Christian ministry:
- Employees must not report to rehearsals, worship services, church events, or ministry activities under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, or any substance that impairs performance.
- Illegal drug use is strictly prohibited.
- Smoking, vaping, and tobacco use are not permitted on church property or during ministry activities.
- Drug and/or alcohol testing may be required where permitted by applicable law.
- Employees are expected to demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and conduct consistent with Christian ministry standards.
