Duties Prepare a variety of deli foods including slicing meats and cheeses, assembling sandwiches, and maintaining fresh product displays Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and upselling items to enhance the shopping experience Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations; assist with food handling, bussing, and sanitation duties Manage inventory levels, restock products, and rotate stock to ensure freshness and availability Assist in food preparation tasks in the kitchen or café area as needed, supporting overall food industry standards Qualifications Prior experience in food service, retail grocery store, or quick service & fast food restaurant environments preferred Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and clear communication abilities Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and measuring ingredients Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work in a fast-paced setting Experience with sanitation procedures and food safety regulations is highly desirable Embark on a rewarding journey where your culinary talents meet your passion for serving people!
