Position Summary:
The Fulfillment Team Member is responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. This role plays a key part in meeting order deadlines and ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient and precise fulfillment practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Pick items from inventory based on order specifications using pick lists or handheld scanners. Pack and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and damage prevention. Label and scan packages for shipping using company systems. Replenish inventory and restock shelves as needed. Assist in inventory counts and quality control checks. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area. Communicate any inventory discrepancies or issues to supervisors. Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) if trained and certified. Support other departments or tasks as assigned to meet operational needs.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous warehouse or fulfillment experience is a plus but not required. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity goals. Basic computer or scanner proficiency. Ability to stand, lift, bend, and carry items up to 50 lbs for extended periods. Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Working Conditions:
Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures. May require standing for long periods and repetitive motions. Use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) may be required.
