Job Description
Job Summary - The Sweet Spot (Walnut Creek) The Sweet Spot is looking for reliable and detail-oriented team members who can independently manage both food preparation and customer-facing service in a fast-paced dessert environment. This role involves making a variety of menu items including crepes, pancakes, strawberry cups, and other specialty desserts, while maintaining a consistent, high-quality standard across every order. Team members must be comfortable multitasking and handling sudden high-volume rushes on their own, staying composed and efficient under pressure. Every order is expected to go out accurate, fresh, and consistent, with strong attention to presentation and quality. Cleanliness is a top priority. The workstation must be kept extremely clean and organized at all times, as food is prepared in full view of customers through a front-facing glass window. Employees are expected to take pride in their workspace and maintain a professional, polished appearance while working. This role requires someone who is self-sufficient, dependable, and able to stay on top of responsibilities without constant supervision. Responsibilities also include maintaining cleanliness throughout shifts, restocking as needed, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
