This energetic position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring food safety, quality, and efficiency. As a Sanitation Team Member, you will be responsible for maintaining the multiple food production line's cleanliness standards, and supporting the overall food production process to deliver delicious and safe products to our customers.

Description:

Ensure and maintain the high facility standards stated by following: Company Policies and Safety Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), BRCGS and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements Responsible for maintaining a clean food production facility, as well as the office area, breakroom, restrooms, and other areas as needed. Clean, sanitize and wash all equipment and materials within the facility to written standards, using cleaning equipment and cleaning chemicals that have been approved and supplied by Management. Handle all cleaning chemicals properly with the proper training. While the equipment is being cleaned, inspected for any missing or damaged pieces. Report any findings immediately Ensure that the trash and recycling bins inside the facility are taken out every day Complete all appropriate documentation properly in a timely manner on the same day. Report all pest issues, food safety, general safety and equipment issues to department Supervisor and/or Management Any other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications/ Expectations:

Experience in cleaning HACCP/BRCGS/SQF or any other food production sites Willing and able to learn how to operate food processing equipment safely. Appropriately lift and/or unload containers of product or equipment weighing up to 80 pounds Be able to read and comprehend English instructions and directions. Being bilingual in Spanish is a plus. Good hand/eye coordination and willing to do repetitive work Have a positive attitude, be able to follow instructions and work in a team environment. Willing to contribute to a safe working environment by following all safety requirements and instructions. Absolutely refrain from doing hazardous tasks/not follow proper directions that jeopardizes the safety of yourself and others. Work a flexible schedule with potential overtime. Work up to 10 hours a day, any day of the week. Must be able to stand during the entire shift Have excellent work and attendance record and attend all meetings as required Able to learn and complete a variety of duties as assigned

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
